Our jagua gel is made from Genipa americana fruit extract, thickened with xanthan gum, and nothing else you wouldn't want on your skin. No PPD, no synthetic dyes, no alcohol. EU cosmetics certified (EC 1223/2009), dermatologically tested, vegan.

Three formats, one ink

10 ml tube — comes with a fine-tip Luer Lock applicator. Good for 4–5 medium designs. The one to start with if you're trying jagua for the first time, or if you like detailed freehand work. From €15.

100 ml refill pouch — same gel, ten times the volume. Transfer it into your own applicator bottles or cones. Better value if you're working with stencils, doing multiple designs, or sharing with friends. €60.

1 litre pro pouch — for professionals, henna artists, event organisers, and anyone who goes through gel regularly. The most economical option per ml. €360.

Who uses jagua gel?

Tattoo testers — want to see how a design looks on your body before going permanent? Jagua gives you the most realistic preview possible.

Henna artists branching out — if you already work with henna cones, jagua gel handles the same way but stains blue-black instead of brown. Same technique, different result.

Festival & event prep — waterproof once developed. Survives rain, sweat, sunscreen, and a weekend of dancing.

Creative projects — body art sessions, photoshoots, bachelorettes, birthday parties. Anywhere you want temporary ink that actually looks real.

Good to know

Jagua needs 24–48 hours to develop its full color. Right after washing off the gel, the stain looks faint — almost invisible. That's normal. Give it a day and it'll darken to a deep blue-black. Full application guide included with every order, or check our complete jagua guide.

Store unused gel in the freezer — it stays fresh for up to 2 years. Thaw at room temperature before use. More storage tips on each product page.

Yes. The juice is the liquid extract from the fruit. The gel is the same substance, just thickened with xanthan gum so you can apply it with a brush like ink. The active ingredient (genipin) is identical — the only difference is the consistency.

Jagua is dermatologically tested and 100% natural. It's a tropical fruit, so do a patch test 48 hours before use if you have sensitive skin. Safety guide →

In the freezer at −18 °C it keeps for up to 2 years. In the fridge, up to 3 months. You can freeze and thaw it several times without losing quality. Tip: portion it as soon as it arrives.
