Custom Jagua Tattoo

Custom Jagua Tattoo

Jagua ink, not a sticker

This isn't a sticker. Jagua is a natural ink that bonds with your skin — the same way real ink does, just temporary. It develops over 24–48 hours into a deep blue-black.

One colour only — that's why your design needs to be in black (or in one colour).

Natural ink — no PPD, no synthetic dyes
In the skin, not on it — no film, no edges
Waterproof — showers, pool, gym
Fades naturally in 1–2 weeks

Ingredients (INCI): Acrylates Copolymer, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Genipin.

How it works

Design & order

Pick a size, upload your design and preview it on skin. Adjust until it's perfect.

Double-check

Happy with the preview? Double-check your design before ordering. Custom tattoos are non-returnable once production starts.

We print & ship

Custom orders are grouped weekly — that's how we keep them affordable without cutting corners on print quality. Production: 2–3 weeks. Shipping: 1–2 weeks.

Apply & wear

Press on clean skin, peel after 1 minute. Color develops in 24–48h. Lasts 1–2 weeks.

Common questions

Custom orders are grouped weekly. Production takes 2–3 weeks, shipping 1–2 weeks — about 4–5 weeks total. You'll get a tracking number when it ships.

3 copies minimum, 50 maximum — all the same design. Extra copies are perfect for testing different placements or sharing with friends.

Yes — what you see in the editor is what gets printed — in blue-black jagua ink. We don't modify, retouch or resize your artwork.

Jagua only produces one color — blue-black. If you upload a color file, only the dark parts will show. Convert it to black and white before uploading for the best result.

Most custom temporary tattoos use transfer paper — the image sits on the surface of your skin like a sticker, and rubs off after a few days. Our jagua tattoo is different: jagua is a natural ink (Genipa Americana, a tropical fruit) that bonds with the top layer of your skin. The result looks like a real tattoo, lasts 1–2 weeks, then fades naturally. Both are called "temporary tattoos", but visually and technically they're two different products.

Jagua is plant-based and EU cosmetic-certified (CPNP registered). No PPD, no synthetic dyes. If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to tropical fruits, do a patch test on a small area first.

Yes. Jagua bonds with skin proteins regardless of melanin — the chemistry doesn't change with skin tone. On deeper skin, the blue-black reads as a rich charcoal. Use bold designs with strong outlines for the cleanest result. See our guide to jagua across skin tones →

Reach out within 24 hours of ordering and we'll do our best. Once production starts, changes and returns are no longer possible.

Yes — our editor lets you resize and position your design on a skin-tone preview before ordering. It's the easiest way to test a tattoo idea before committing to permanent ink. Upload your design, try different sizes and placements, and see how it looks on you.

Yes. Once the colour has developed (24 to 48 hours after application), your tattoo is waterproof: showers, swimming pools, sport, the beach — no problem. Just avoid long swims in salt water or prolonged hot baths, as these can cause the tattoo to fade more quickly.

Yes — this is one of the most popular uses. First names, dates, signatures, logos, quotes: anything goes with jagua ink, provided the design is in black with clean lines. For text, you can type directly into the editor and choose from our fonts.

Yes — but bear in mind the lead times. Allow 4 to 5 weeks between ordering and delivery. For a wedding, we recommend ordering at least 6 weeks before the date. You can order up to 50 identical copies, perfect for guests at a hen party or teammates at a sporting event.
