A crescent moon and sun merged into one form — the moon's curve on the left, the sun's radiating spikes and fine hair-lines on the right. Decorative clouds curl around the left side, and a few four-pointed stars scatter above. The line work borrows from traditional Japanese cloud motifs, but the composition reads as universal celestial.
