It's a broad family, and the quickest way through it is by mood. For something graphic and punchy, look at bold and dashed sunbursts or tribal suns. For a softer, holiday feel, line-drawn seascapes and landscapes put the sun on the horizon rather than centre stage. Somewhere in between sit engraved suns, with their old-woodcut shading, and plain, straight-rayed suns, an easy first sun tattoo if you've never worn one.
How long it stays
