Lightning tattoo

Small and sharp: every lightning tattoo here is either a single bolt or a sheet of mini symbols, all in blue-black. The bolts run from a fine-line zigzag to a bold hollow outline. On the sheets, a tiny line-drawn bolt sits among other little icons, so you can wear one alone or scatter a few.
Think small spots. A finger, the inner wrist, behind the ear, the side of the neck, the ankle. On fingers it fades sooner, because hands get washed and rubbed all day; spots that see less friction keep it longer.
A bolt ⚡ often gets picked as shorthand for energy, a flash of inspiration or the moment something changed. In the old myths it was tied to Zeus and Thor, which is part of the appeal for some.
On your skin
Each lightning tattoo gets its color from jagua, a fruit, and that color develops in the top layer of skin instead of sitting on the surface. It goes on in two minutes or less with firm pressure. Right after, it looks faint; give it 24 to 48 hours and it deepens to blue-black. Keep it dry and leave it alone for the first 8 hours. After that it’s waterproof, and you can wear it for up to two weeks. No PPD, and vegan. Here’s how long a temporary tattoo really lasts, spot by spot.
Sketched a bolt of your own? We can print your drawing as a custom tattoo, with a minimum order of 3 copies.
