The colour develops within 48 hours

When you rinse off the gel, the tattoo is light grey. This is normal. The genipin oxidises gradually. Within 24 to 48 hours, the deep blue-black colour appears.

How to use the gel — 5 steps

Prep the skin

Clean with soap and water, no lotion. A light exfoliation beforehand improves stain quality.

Draw

Screw on the applicator and press gently. Freehand or using a stencil.

Leave to dry

Leave on the skin for 2 to 3 hours. The longer you leave it, the more intense the colour.

Rinse

With lukewarm water. The tattoo will appear light grey — this is normal.

Wait 48 hours

The blue-black colour develops gradually. Be patient.
