Butterfly & Rose Stem Tattoo
Butterfly & Rose Stem Tattoo
Description
Butterfly Tattoos: What They Mean and Where They Look Best
A swallowtail butterfly, tails and all, with a rose rising behind it. The stem runs straight through the butterfly's body and ends in a few leaves, drawn in a rough, print-like black line.
Rose on top, stem pointing down: it sits well on the upper back, the shoulder blade, the outer forearm or the calf.

Butterfly Tattoos: What They Mean and Where They Look BestApplication Tips
- Clean and thoroughly dry the area of skin where you wish to apply the tattoo.
- Remove the protective film and place the tattoo face down on your skin.
- Moisten the back of the tattoo with a damp sponge and press firmly for about 30 seconds.
- Gently peel off the paper and let it dry. At first the design looks pale, almost see-through: that’s normal. Keep it away from water and rubbing for 8 hours. It darkens to blue-black over 24 to 48 hours.
