Description
A tiger comes down through a curtain of flames, shoulders low, head turned out toward you, jaws open. The tail curls back up into the smoke at the top of the piece. Solid black stripes, no shading and no grey — pure contrast, the way old Asian flash was cut.
The composition reads top to bottom, so it follows a forearm, the outside of a calf, or sits across a shoulder blade. At 10×18 cm it has real presence without committing you to a full sleeve.
