His name, a date, or just Dad
Most dad tattoo searches land on the same idea: a few letters in script, a heart, sometimes a date. Lettering is what we keep here too, in a small selection. The real request tends to be more personal. His first name. The day he became a dad. The word Dad, written the way you'd write it.
Send that as a custom tattoo, minimum 3 copies, and match it across the family: one for him, one for you, one for a sibling or a kid aged 3 and up. It works for Father's Day, a birthday or an ordinary Sunday barbecue. Showers and swims won't wash it off, since it's waterproof, and it stays one to two weeks. More ideas sit in family tattoos, there's a page for moms as well, and lettering tattoos cover other words and scripts.
