By placing an order on the Website, you ("the Customer", "you" or "your") accept these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

These Terms apply to all sales made to consumers (individuals acting for personal, non-commercial purposes) within the European Union and internationally. They are governed by French law, in particular the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation) and the French Civil Code (Code civil).

1. Products

1.1 Temporalis sells natural temporary tattoos made from jagua ink. Our products are transfer stickers applied to the skin with water. They are not gels applied with a bottle. Once applied, the ink develops into a deep blue-black colour within 24 to 48 hours and lasts approximately 7 to 15 days depending on skin type, placement and care.

1.2 We make every effort to display product images and descriptions as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, photography and the natural characteristics of jagua ink. Such variations do not constitute a defect.

1.3 Our products are available subject to stock. If a product becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will inform you promptly and offer a full refund or an alternative product.

2. Prices

2.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in the currency corresponding to your selected market and include all applicable taxes. Prices do not include delivery charges, which are displayed separately before you confirm your order.

2.2 Prices are valid at the time of order. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time, but products will be invoiced at the price in effect when the order is placed.

2.3 For deliveries within the European Union, VAT is applied at the rate applicable in the country of delivery, in accordance with the One-Stop Shop (OSS) scheme.

3. Ordering process

3.1 To place an order, the Customer must:

  1. Select the desired product(s) and add them to their shopping cart;
  2. Review the cart and proceed to checkout;
  3. Provide delivery and billing information;
  4. Select a delivery method;
  5. Select a payment method;
  6. Review the full order summary, including the total price (products + delivery);
  7. Accept these Terms of Sale;
  8. Confirm and pay for the order.

3.2 The order is considered final and binding once payment has been confirmed. An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer.

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, suspected fraud, incomplete information, or a dispute relating to a previous order.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment is due in full at the time of order. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Shopify Payments
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Klarna (buy now, pay later — subject to Klarna's own terms and conditions)

4.2 All payments are processed through secure, encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). Card details are handled by our payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna) and are never stored on our servers.

4.3 Your order will only be dispatched once payment has been confirmed and received in full. In the event of payment failure, the order will not be processed.

5. Delivery

5.1 We deliver to the following regions:

  • France: Standard delivery from €2.90, estimated 2 to 4 business days.
  • Europe (EU): Delivery from €3.90 (standard), estimated 3 to 8 business days.
  • United States / Canada: Standard delivery from €20.00, estimated 5 to 12 business days.
  • Other countries: Please contact us for availability and rates.

5.2 All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information.

5.3 Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. They begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Delays caused by carriers, customs or force majeure events do not engage our liability, provided we have fulfilled our dispatch obligations.

5.4 In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, if no delivery date has been agreed, we undertake to deliver within a maximum of 30 days from the order date. If we fail to deliver within this period, you may cancel your order after giving us a reasonable additional deadline. In this case, you will receive a full refund within 14 days.

5.5 Risk of loss or damage to the products transfers to the Customer upon physical receipt of the goods (or by a third party designated by the Customer, other than the carrier), in accordance with Article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code.

5.6 If your parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the carrier immediately. In the event of proven loss or theft confirmed by the carrier's investigation, we will arrange a replacement or full refund.

6. Right of withdrawal

6.1 In accordance with Articles L.221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the product(s), without giving any reason.

6.2 To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by sending a clear statement (e.g., email) to:

You may use the standard withdrawal form provided in Section 7 of these Terms, but this is not mandatory.

6.3 The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the goods.

6.4 To be eligible for a return, the products must be returned in their original condition: unused, unopened, with all tags and original packaging intact.

6.5 You must return the products without undue delay and in any event within 14 calendar days of notifying us of your withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the Customer.

6.6 We will reimburse all payments received from you, including initial standard delivery charges (if applicable), within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned products or proof of shipment, whichever comes first. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

6.7 If you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer, we will not refund the additional cost.

LEGAL WARRANTY OF CONFORMITY (Articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code):

10.2 The seller delivers goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, the assembly instructions, or the installation if the seller was responsible for installation.

10.3 The goods conform to the contract if they:

  1. Are fit for the purpose usually expected of similar goods and, where applicable, correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model;
  2. Present the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect given the public statements made by the seller, the producer, or their representative, including in advertising or labelling.

10.4 The period of the legal warranty of conformity is 2 years from the date of delivery of the goods. During this entire period, you do not need to prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery.

10.5 If a lack of conformity is established, you may choose between repair or replacement of the product. If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, you may obtain a full or partial refund.

10.6 You are exempt from proving the existence of the lack of conformity for a period of 24 months following delivery of the goods.

WARRANTY AGAINST HIDDEN DEFECTS (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code):

10.7 The seller is liable for hidden defects in the goods sold that render them unfit for their intended use or that diminish their use to such an extent that the buyer would not have purchased them, or would have paid a lower price, had they known of the defects.

10.8 The action arising from hidden defects must be brought by the buyer within 2 years of the discovery of the defect.

10.9 To exercise either warranty, please contact us at contact@temporalis.tattoo with a description of the defect and your order number.

11.1 We are liable for the proper performance of all obligations arising from the distance selling contract, in accordance with Article L.221-15 of the French Consumer Code.

Appendix — Information on legal warranties

The consumer benefits from a period of 2 years from the delivery of the goods to exercise the legal warranty of conformity in the event of a lack of conformity. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.

Where the legal warranty of conformity provides for the replacement of the goods, any goods replaced give rise to a renewed warranty of conformity.

The consumer may choose between repair and replacement of the goods, subject to cost conditions set out in Article L.217-12 of the French Consumer Code. The consumer is exempt from proving the existence of the lack of conformity during the 24 months following delivery.

In addition to the legal warranty of conformity, the consumer benefits from the legal warranty against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of 2 years from the discovery of the defect. This warranty entitles the consumer to a reduction in price if the goods are retained or a full refund if the goods are returned.
